Artisanal Baker – Night Shift (UK Residents or Settled Status Applicants Only)

Location: Unit 5, Station Field Industrial Estate, Kidlington, OX5 1JD

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 9-hour shifts (including 30-minute break), 5 days on / 2 days off

The hours for this role will change to a 1:00–2:00 am start upon completion of our oven separation project.

Pay: £13.16 per hour (day rate) and £14.50 per hour (night rate)

Shift Patterns:

• Sunday to Thursday: 10:30 PM – 8:00 AM

• Friday to Saturday: 10:00 PM – 7:30 AM

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating ovens and managing baking cycles to perfection.

• Preparing and mixing dough using traditional, time-honoured techniques.

• Scoring, glazing, and shaping dough for top-quality results.

• Monitoring proofing and ensuring products meet our high artisan standards.

• Assisting in viennoiserie production when required.

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

• Supporting the team to meet production schedules without compromising quality.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in artisan bread-making using traditional techniques.

• Strong knowledge of dough preparation and proofing.

• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented.

• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

• Willingness to learn – we welcome those with some experience who are keen to develop further.
