National Doughnut Week 2025 Raises £40,000 for The Children’s Trust

National Doughnut Week 2026 will take place 16th-24th May

National Doughnut Week 2025 once again proved the power of the UK’s bakery industry to support this important cause by raising an impressive £40,000 for The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.

Next year’s National Doughnut Week, sponsored by CSM Ingredients, will take place from 16–24 May 2026, giving bakeries, cafes, delis and foodservice operators the perfect opportunity to get involved, get creative, boost sales and support a life-changing cause that provides vital services for children and families affected by brain injury. Signing up is easy to do via the National Doughnut Week website.

Since its launch, National Doughnut Week has now raised a remarkable £1,187,546 in total, with £672,339 donated directly to The Children’s Trust.

James Dedman, General Manager, CSM Ingredients UK & Ireland, commented:

“Every year the baking industry commits to this fantastic cause and the creativity and energy that went into 2025 was fantastic to see. We are delighted to once again be supporting the week in 2026 and helping bakers even raise more dough.”

Christopher Freeman, Founder of National Doughnut Week, added:

“We are hugely grateful to the UK baking industry for its fantastic support of this year’s National Doughnut Week. The impressive amount raised is a real testament to the creativity, hard work of bakers across the country and huge thank you goes out to everyone who took part and produced such amazing doughnuts. We’re already looking forward to 2026 — don’t forget to sign up and be part of another incredible week.”

Michelle Martin, Director of Fundraising and Communications at The Children's Trust said: “We’re so grateful to every bakery, café and supporter who took part in National Doughnut Week this year. Together, you’ve raised an incredible amount that will make a lasting difference to the children and young people we support. Thank you to the whole baking community, CSM Ingredients and Christopher Freeman for your continued support. We can't wait to see the generosity and creativity you whip up next year!”
