About Us -
Long Crendon Manor Stables is a Bakery, Farm Shop and Café just a two minute walk from the village square and 10 minutes from the busy market town of Thame, 10 mile east of Oxford. We have an emphasis on local provenance.

Bakery -
The Bakery is in the converted Stables, established 4 years ago, serving the Farm Shop and range of local wholesale customers with artisan bread and pastry products. The equipment centres around a 15-tray Tom Chandley 5-deck oven built to order. Future growth in business and bakery size is already planned.

Job Description -
Fully responsible for the daily preparation and baking to satisfy the requirements of the shop, local trade customers and the café for all types of bread and patisserie of the correct quantity at the right time to the highest quality.

Contract/ Expected Hours -
Full time. Permanent contract with typical bakery hours.
Salary: £32-35,000 p.a.

Qualifications -
-
Experienced all round Craft Baker with Pastry Chef capability
- Knowledge of Sourdoughs and Bulk Fermentation Doughs essential
- Must be conversant with all types of Patisserie and able to produce a range of traditional British favourites as well as Continental Pastries from scratch including savoury and sweet.
- A passion for local produce and ingredients.

Personal Qualities -
Responsible and personable with solid experience and confidence. Able to work hard alone and unsupervised whilst communicating with the other team members in the shop and café. Confident talking to customers and suppliers and working in a small friendly team. Ability to manage all aspects of the bakery. Vision to input creativity and to grow with our business.
