Aspart of our exciting growth plans we are due to open a new production site, andan opportunity has arisen for a new Production Manager to lead this team. Aspart of this role you will:

  • Developa high performing production team with the capability to outline, flood,decorate, pack and despatch biscuits in line with the business needs
  • Makesure the team deliver the required production within the target times and thequality levels set
  • Providestrong, visible leadership on-site
  • Identifyand deliver efficiency improvements
  • Monitorand report on productivity, performance and waste to senior management
  • Linemanage the icing and packing teams, including creating rotas to meet productionplans, performance and absence management, inductions, training anddevelopment, and playing an active role in recruitment
  • Ensureall production is aligned to the Health & Safety and Food Safety policy
  • Overseethe goods-in process, manage stock on site and ensure accurate stocktakes Workwithin agreed budgets to manage costs and deliver savings and value

You will need:

  • Previousexperience of successfully managing a team of 20+ people, and of working aspart of a team to deliver a project
  • Tohave worked in a food production environment ideally within a bakery, and havethe ability to deliver improvements and streamline processes
  • Qualificationsin Health & Safety and Food Safety (level 3 minimum)
  • Soundfinancial understanding
  • Greatcommunication skills, both written and verbal
  • Apositive, proactive approach
  • Enthusiasmfor the role and for Biscuiteers
